Capturing video from Blast City Versus Kit video splitter

Post by hanasu »

Hi all,

I have a head-to-head Blast City setup with the factory video splitter board (https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2847/100 ... 4b4c_c.jpg). I am only using one of the DB-15 ports. What is the easiest way to capture video from the second port? I would only ever be using it for 15k games. I have tried using a JROK encoder but have had no luck, and for what reason I'm not really sure. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Grab an X-Capture or PEXHDCAP. Both of those will do the job nicely (and also work for high res if you ever need it).

Thanks for the advice. Any options that aren't $300+?

Are there any particular reasons why a JROK wouldn't have worked (besides user error)?
