I'm posting here as I can't solve this issue and somebody may have encountered the same problem.
Here is my setup :
NTSC PS2 (set to RGB) -> Scart wired for composite as sync (did the test with Lumia too) -> scart to vga cable (with sync stripper) -> Extron 203rxi, RGBs output -> Extron MVX 44 -> BVM 20G1E
I'm trying to get my PS2 "dowscaled" to 240 thanks to the Extron RGB "trick". All 203's switches are set to off. That means the DDSP switch is set to off, enabling access to centering knobs and signal dowscaled to 240p, as I do have scanlines. Unfortunately, the top of the image is "chopped" :
When DDSP switch is set to ON, I do have a nice 480i picture without any issue, but that's not what I want.
I have tried pretty much everything :
* Serration pulse switch
* YUV output from PS2 through the RGB cable and YUV cable
* PS2 scart cable with sync on Lumia or composite as sync
* Swapping Extron's internal jumper (J6,J7,J20)
* Don't have on the BVM-20G1E the AFC/VCR parameter that usually solves this kind of issues
As I'm running out of idea, some help would be more than welcome. As anybody encountered this issue with this setup and overcome it ?
Cheers
