Toshiba 27A43 Calibration

Post by atheistgod1999 »

I've been using this for the past few months and I'd like to adjust some things inside it.

First off, it has scan velocity modulation that can't be disabled even in the service menu. I've searched Google and nothing has helped me, except that I hear I can disable it by cutting the power supply to the circuit. Where should this be? I got the service manual on my hard drive, and that doesn't say how to disable it. The CRT block schematic even says "(WITHOUT SVM)". I took off the back shell and took a few (blurry) pictures of the CRT block:

Can anyone determine from these pics what I should cut in order to disable the SVM?

It also has a horizontal S correction issue I'd like to correct.
