I learned 6502 assembly yesterday and thought it would be cool to make a simple game for the NES. What else do I need to learn? Any assembler recommendations (I'm using Windows 7 64-Bit)? I have an Everdrive N8, so I can test on real hardware.
I know it won't be easy or quick; I've gotten smarter since that "Need to learn Japanese ASAP for Famicom games" thread last year.
