Hi, I'm a pretty active member on neo-geo.com, but I'm new here. I look forward to spending some time here. I recently purchased the 3 cave PS2 games from play asia and a PS2 virtua stick. The stick is not in stock and they said it would be a weeks wait. I have now been waiting a month and a week and it still hasn't shipped. Must be patient...
I shouldn't be too anxious, I don't even have a PS2 that can play them yet. I am thinking about just modding mine, any suggestions?

As far as your PS2 goes, if you're comfortable soldering, then by all means install a modchip. Best of both worlds that way.

sup loopyeddie..great to see you on the shmups board...im saturn2dfreak from n-g.com..youve been over at n-g.com for too long..i suggest you buy a HDD and never have to worry about modding your ps2..you can rip your japense ps2 game on your hdd and play it off from the HDD and sell your game..muahaha! and its much cheaper too!

Can you give me more info on this? A link maybe? Every self respecting shmuper knows, that there are just too many cool JPN shooters available for the PS-1/2 to be missed out when not having a modded PS-2.
So, If you're not too lazy (Like my self
) & feel comfortable with a soldering gun, You should definitely install a mod chip into your PS-2.
