BVM monitor maintenance menu password

Post by largemann »

Hey all, I've had this BVM for a while and have never been able to find a menu option for adjusting picture alignment. I do not know the maintenance password, and it is isn't either factory default of 1111 or 9999.

The model number is BVM-A20F1, the service manuals I've been able to find for BVMs have a slightly different menu layout than mine. They display a Set Up menu which has an Alignment option for adjusting the picture. I don't have any options to adjust the picture at all, here's a link to what my menus look like: http://imgur.com/a/KDFne

What's inside of the maintenance menu that I can't access without a password? Is there a way to reset the password?

Thanks for any info!

I've gone through all the obvious combinations I can come up with, I even started counting up from 1000 but gave up around 1500.

The BVM-A series is in service. You can simply call the Sony pro service and they'll help you out.

Ya the default is 0000,1111 or 9999.

Not to be off topic, but what other BVM models are still in service?
