Hi,
I'm looking to add another card to my BVM-D24E1.
Would a BKM-21D SDi multi decoder adaptor do the job? Input sources would either be PAL or NTSC RGB (240o) or component PAL (480i; 480p; 720p). I'm using the card built into the monitor for both at the moment but want to some additional input options. On a related note is there a limit to how many SDI cards that can be added?
As a side note I've got a BKM-42HD but the fan was just too noisy.
Thanks,
John

None of the add-in cards have a sync input, so you can use them for component, but you cannot use them for RGBs, unless you're using the sync input on the stock RGB board (which doesnt make to much sense) or you're converting from RGBs to RGsB. The 21D is fine. I think you can add up to four of them.

Okay so the 21D would be fine for the component input from PS3 / Wii. Out of interest what could handle the RGBs to RGsB conversion?
For RGB input I'm using a basic 3 input RGB switcher with a view to buying a switcher with more ports when I can find one.

the Extron RGB interfaces, but you need a signal with clean sync to do that (so, no composite video for sync).Out of interest what could handle the RGBs to RGsB conversion?
