At TGS, rumor had it Atari was developing a next-generation version of Alone in the Dark for PlayStation 3, but either our information was wrong or Sony jumped the gun; Atari has announced Alone in the Dark is currently in development for Xbox 360 at Microsoft's X05 event.
Alone in the Dark's in-the-works at Eden Games (behind the recent Kya: Dark Lineage platformer) and will reportedly feature "action-packed experience within a highly detailed, free-roaming environment" brimming with environmental interaction and true-to-life physics. Atari hasn't nailed down a release date, but next Christmas sounds about right.

The rest of Atari's Xbox 360 lineup - arcade racer Test Drive: Unlimited and futuristic first-person-shooter TimeShift - have already been announced, but now the company's pinned down spring and summer release dates respectively.
Though next-generation is clearly the focus of X05, Atari also brought with games still coming for the original Xbox, including The Matrix: Path of Neo, Mark Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure and Driver: Parallel Lines.
