Scanline Converter for Composite Scart

Post by RaidenIII »

Pretty much these days all I play is my Famicom.

I recently got a Sony Bravia 15" 4:3 (I really haven't got the space for a CRT...done this many times)

Anyway..i was playing this on a LG 22" Widescreen switched to 4:3...but since getting the Sony, the natural picture and colours have greatly improved, also, it has masked the 'jailbars' from the composite signal quite a lot...more than I thought

I wouldn't mind trying a scanline generator....

please could you recommend something that will work with composite AV Scart block.

I'm not hardcore anymore! I just want to try it.

I did look at the new one (sorry, I forget the name) but it only has hdmi out....my tv doesn't have hdmi...
it has scart, s video and vga and the famicom is a composite signal. (av modded)

I mentioned the 'new' scanline generator as the person on youtube demoing it, was quite surprised at the difference of his pc-engine composite image with this device.

thank you.

I believe it's being discussed somewhere on the Hardware subforum.
The rear gate is closed down
The way out is cut off
