Newbie question about Sony PVM 20M4E

Post by johnwoo14 »

Hi everybody,
I just bought a Sony PVM 20m4e and I need some tips about how to connect my consoles to this beast :D
I suppose I need a scart/rgb to bnc adapter, am I right? Will it work with any scart/rgb consoles? Is this the best picture quality option I could chose with my PVM?

Thanks for your help!

yep! the SCART to BNC cable should be all you need - and yes that will give you the best possible picture on this monitor.

the PVM will also accept a component signal up to 15khz, you just need a few simple RCA to BNC adaptors.

Thanks for the reply! Is there a "forum approved" store where I can buy the scart to bnc adapter?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the tips! I just ordered a rgb scart/bnc adapter from retrogamingcables :D
In the meantime, I managed to connect my Saturn via s-video cable. I'm pretty satisfied with video quality but I was wandering if I could improve the picture with a particular menu setting. Do you have any suggestion? Or should I keep the factory setting? (I do not know anything about color temp, phase, chroma ecc ecc  )

Thanks!!
