No settings on monitor

Post by neorichieb1971 »

Just a quick query really. My U2414H monitors don't have any settings buttons. The manual says that the buttons do this and that, but it always displays the inputs when I press them.

I don't have a video signal going into the monitors, so I'm assuming it doesn't go further than the input selection until a video signal is detected.

My PC is coming this week so will find out for sure then, but was hoping someone would put my mind out of its misery until then.

Thanks,

Richie.

Ya a lot of monitors these days require a video signal in order to adjust the picture geometries/colors. My asus monitor does this as well.

Yes, it's context sensitive. As soon as you got stable signal incoming and you touch the panel, you get four "virtual keys" that allow you to navigate the menu.
