Using BVM outputs for computer capture?
Is this possible? I understand the outputs were simply for daisy chaining multiple BVMs together, not sure if the signal could be re purposed for capturing 1:1 from its source input. I'm asking this because the output lies right in front of me and since I am trying to come up with a way to split RGB scart to a capture card (capture card and/or splitter not yet purchased, hence brainstorming and research here), it would seem silly for me to get an seemingly redundant piece of hardware inbetween such as an unreliable scart powered splitter or something with mixed results when I 'possibly' might have everything I need right in front of me? (with the exception of purchasing another bnc cable for the output itself assuming this theory holds water?). Figured I would ask here. I'm kind of expecting my idea to get shot down with it being some weird sync that only broadcast monitors or the exact card or card family can work with. Thanks

I'm pretty sure lots of people run BVM/PVM outputs to capture cards. The signal isn't modified in any way that I know of.

Great to hear, I will dig more into the forums incase setups have already been discussed. If anyone cares to share their rig setup, that would be stellar.
