UK based modders

Post by amaradona »

Hi guys,

I have been looking around for some reliable and experienced console modders but could not find any.

I am particularly looking for RGB mod for pc-engine.

Any useful contacts?

These guys are in the UK and are listed by Tim Worthington as being NESRGB modders, you could ask them if they do PCE stuff:

PC engine has the same internal PCB as the turbo 16 in the USA. And luckily there's a guy in SWEDEN who makes a universal scart cable for PC engine / TG that plugs into the ext socket. (Doesn't work on duo models)

It's pricey but worth it and doesn' t involve the long wait of modders .

I can vouch for oldskoolkonsoles - Dave RGB-modded an HVC-001 Famicom for me and added detachable controllers (in fact there are photos of my console on his site there). He does good work.

They've closed down now unfortunately. PC Engine RGB and recapping is on our roadmap but at the moment we're focused on making other mods available.
