extron 203 rxi setup help

I recently picked up an extron rgb 203rxi and a cable from retrogamingcables to go with it,
i have it going into a pvm but im getting no picture.

when sync is plugged in the menu screen is all fuzzy, otherwise there is no picture at all and the backlight at the front is flashing.
which dip switches and jumper settings should i use for 240p? and do i have to change any settings for 480i for my 360?

it was sold as working so im hoping its how i have it setup rather than the unit itself.

this should never happen.

How does the unit behave when no source is connected ? You should try a standard VGA source first (31khz). If you don't have a 31khz capable monitor, just try the input to see if you get a good reading on the front display.

If you got a cable with a LM1881 built-in you need a proper power supply coming from your source Scart cable. What's your source ?

my setup is consoles>gscartsw(with psu connected for auto switching)>extron cable>extron 203>pvm 20L5.

when nothing is connected it still flickers and has a slight buzz if im close, and just says rgb 203rxi.

i will try with vga now, thanks.

its starting to sound like the unit isnt working .

yes, ive tried it without and it still doesnt work, ill have to get a bnc T connector tomorrow so i can test vga.

so after putting this on hold after i changed a cap that looked suss and it still not working, i finally got around to buying another unit i picked up a extron rgb 202 cheap thinking i could swap the psu's.
they werent the same so i contacted extron and they wouldnt send me a replacement, and wanted like 350 aud to send it in lol.
then i looked up the psu model number and couldnt find any for sale, so i went looking for a replacement.

the voltages arent easy to find a replacement +5v and -5v, i found one that was expensive, then it clicked i had an arcade psu sitting around that had those voltages so i wired it up and it worked .

not sure what im going to do from here the arcade psus are cheap but they are pretty bulky, hope this helps someone else.
