Hi.
I'm trying to find a old game. Not too old, I guess, it was from a time shareware was kinda common, I think.
It's a top down 2d space ship combat game, with a dark tone.
I remember the environment being destructible.
There was gravity, it wasn't necessary in space. If you let go the movement button, your ship falls. I think you could touch the ground and the walls without taking damage.
There was like a timer, if there were more than one team alive and it runned out, it started to rain bombs, and, because the environment was fully destructible, you had to try to go as much to the bottom of the map you could to have a higher change of survival.
I remember you could spawn little things, like a gravity or repulsive spot, and there was like, little infantry, that screamed when killed.
Any ideas?
I can't remember the name

Can't remember if they scream, but killable tiny dudes are in Jets'n'Guns and Walker. Metal Warriors is another one where they are more than decoration (no screaming, though).AquiEstou wrote:there was like, little infantry, that screamed when killed.

Re: I can't remember the name
Thanks for trying to help.
I already found it. Not even Google could find it with the keywords I had in mind. Then I just typed 2d destructible terrain and took some time looking for images.
It was a old freeware game called TOU - Tunnels of the Underworld.
I noticed that it wasn't a shmup. Sorry for that. It has spaceships in deathmatch-like battles.
I recommend it, though. (but probably I'm blinded by nostalgia)
