Post by chomp »

I'm new in this forum - Hello everyone.
I have problem with Hammerin Harry pcb - some object in the game are pixelated and screens between levels seems to be shifted to the left.

Actually played the game and didn't run into any other problems.
Maybe someone here has experience with this pcb and can make a suggestion?
I can see no obvious issues - board is in good condition, no visible damage or repairs.
I'm running it on a MAK plugged into TV (LCD) via RGB scart.
I've also tested it on a another supergun pluged in CRT and it behaves the exact same way.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated!
Thanks for your time

First, check for leaky capacitors or physical damage to the board (traces, etc)
check the power supply to make sure its not going too much over or under
pull all socketed chips, clean, replace
If its still giving you trouble after that?.. press down on different chips while the game is on, being very carefull not to short out anything or apply too much pressure, and see if you can change the effect on the video.
good luck :)
