Any light gun announced or planned for the 360??
Just curious, since I love these types of shooters!
The XBOX really could've used something like this, although I have read in reviews that Slient Scope Complete and House of the Dead III play just fine with the XBOX controller.

Though not as fun as with a gun, The House of the Dead III is indeed very playable with a pad. The game is made a bit too easy by having shotguns with massive shots though. There's less picking off limbs and headshots and more total destruction of the enemies. Still great though, plus it comes complete with The House of the Dead 2.dave4shmups wrote:Just curious, since I love these types of shooters! The XBOX really could've used something like this, although I have read in reviews that Slient Scope Complete and House of the Dead III play just fine with the XBOX controller.
I'd really love to see Virtua Cop 3 get released on the 360.

I love gun games. I hope they do it right this time. I have Silent Scope Complete for X Box and using the gun is horrible. I have the Pelican scope rifle (which they made specifically for this game) and in order for it to work properly you have to turn the brightness up so high the game looks like crap. It works awesome with HOD so I know it isn't the gun causing problems. I just figured somebody would of tested it before putting it on the market for 50 bucks with pictures of Silent Scope all over the box. Maybe we will see some Time Crisis or Point Blank emerge. Then again when they make these games they put no money into the marketing. Maybe they should make a GTA light gun game. Some people might take interest.

There are plenty of lightguns for the Xbox, ranging from simple inaccurate models, to 100hz compatible ones, to recent new ones that even work on projection screens. If you're playing HotD III with a pad, you're missing out.dave4shmups wrote:The XBOX really could've used something like this

So, how does Slient Scope Complete play with the regular D-Pad?a.c._slatercore wrote:I love gun games. I hope they do it right this time. OK, where can I find these new recent ones at??Thunder Force wrote:There are plenty of lightguns for the Xbox, ranging from simple inaccurate models, to 100hz compatible ones, to recent new ones that even work on projection screens. @ArrogantBastard; I love rail shooters period, so it wouldn't bother me at all to use the XBOX controller to play the games in Silent Scope Complete, so long as it works well. Yes it's better to have a gun, but rail shooting is rail shooting, IMO.
@UD-Unfortunately I have a feeling that the Revolution controller will be used more for FPS's then light gun shooters; although I agree that it would be fun!
