Recommend me some Dragon Ball Z games?
I somehow feel drawn towards Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse, but I lack the hardware to play it. Back in the day a PS1 DBZ game left a somewhat good impression on me, and Xenoverse reminds me of that. So, what DBZ games would you Super Naysayers recommend? I always have a PS2 hooked up, but I have access to anything pre-HD-console-era.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is regarded as the best DBZ game, no debate apparently.
EDIT: Or was it just Budokai 3 (without the 'Tenkaichi') ? Don't remember.

Yeah, Budokai 3 (PS2) is the best one by far. Tenkaichi is another series and not nearly as good.

Oh yeah that's it thanks, and while I had a look at it the US Greatest Hits version is the one to look for because it's got selectable EN/JP voices, additional contents and gfx/gameplay fixes.
EDIT: some commercialized units actually don't include the revised game, you're not even sure what you're buying lol. ^^

Arika's Chou/Super Dragon Ball Z (ARC/PS2) and Arc System's DBZ Extreme Butoden (3DS) are great if you want good mechanics. The Tenkaichi series has bad reputation due to it's button masher nature.
