So I've been interested in getting an lcd/led monitor that I can tate on a desk to play MAME or 360 ports on (and if I want to be practical minded, to read documents).
Ideally it would have hdmi input, have the standard 16:9 flatscreen ratio, be of a decent size, and be relatively cheap (at most maybe $150?).
Any recommendations for monitors particularly good for tating?
Tate-able monitor recommendations?

Re: Tate-able monitor recommendations?
$150 is a little low to get a good IPS panel, which you need if you don't want to go crazy from the color shift during tate.
My standard recommendation is the Dell U2414. IPS, ultra-low lag and it rotates in BOTH directions out of the box - something that can save you a lot of hassle over time.

Plus it's also just a really great monitor.
