The controller I got with my NES works fine, but the buttons barely click down. It doesn't interfere with the game, I just like feeling of a button clicking when I press on it.
I bought a set of new pads to put under the buttons in the controller, but they had to be pushed down hard to respond. I put the original pads in, and I'm back to square 1. What should I do?
Any good manufacturers of new rubber controller pads?

I'm going on the words of others but I hear great things about Doc's Fix-A-Pad:

(Also some for sale on eBay).
I've been meaning to order some myself. I'm in pretty much the same boat as you with a few controllers.
