How to get hori VLX xbox360 working on my mac?

I have a kitty modded hori vlx that I want to use on my mac.
Does anyone know how to get arcade sticks working on mac´s?

PS3 sticks work out of the box with Macs.

For XBox360 controllers you have to use this driver: https://github.com/d235j/360Controller/ ... unofficial
and you're good to go.

I did install the driver but still my mac does not seem to recognize the stick.
It shows in the device list as "kitty vlx edition".
Could it be that I have to remove the vlx kitty mod from the stick?

if the device is shown it should be working.

When you're into the X360 preference panel with the stick connected, try pushing buttons and see if they light up in the panel.

If that doesn't work make sure you're on the last firmware and plug in the stick with the Start button held down.

After removing the kitty mod the device is now shown as "real arcade pro ex premium" instead of "kitty vlx edition".
But still no response... It still says "no devices found" in the xbox 360 controller.

Uhm, not sure what's wrong with your setup.

It recognizes my XBox360 controller without any issue and shouldn't be different with an 360 arcade stick.

Do you have a normal wired 360 controller to hook up to try and see if the driver is working?

Yes exactly. Should be no difference.
Ok will try to find a wired 360 gamepad to test with.
