I can get composite and component to both work, but not s-video for some reason. It just shows the basic black screen as if nothing is turned on.
I have my s-video hook-ups connected through a selector switch box and so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.
Any ideas?
Can't seem to use S-Video on my new Sony PVM?

HAHA I figured it out. I had my S-Video cable plugged into the S-Video Out instead of the S-Video In.

Heh, you're not the first person to do this, nor will you be the last.

thats actually funny. When i got my first pvm i also didnt get s-video because i didnt plug the cable all the way in. i was thinking something was wrong with the monitor at first.
Turns out it was user error. when i reached behind it the plug just fell out
