Help my PS1 is purple instead of white colors!!!

Hi all, my ntsc 1001 ps1 white colors are displayed purple! is the concole faulty? any help please, cscart rgb cable is new and tested before..

Green line severed inside the SCART plug housing, or dirty/bent pins on the AV output?

Hi, yes the bents were torn out in the AV Output (maybe the pre-user changed the plug way too often in and out,
wearing them (the pins) out)..

Anyway, friend of mine will solder me a new AV Outplug.. He mentionend since it is the oldest PS1 (1001),
soldering around the plastic is no problem, cause the iron musnt be that hot cause of lead-containing soldering material
(as oppossed of today with all the EU-conforming lead-free)
