Sony KV-E2911D CRT Problem

Hi all, great forum.. Sorry to bother you with problems with my first post..

I drove over 400km and spent some amount of cash for above model, in a very nice cosmetic condition,
still with Sony Sticker on, Hifi Rack ie. Stand and Stereo Boxes plus Subwoofer and whatnot..
Chassis is a AE-1A.. This mofo weigs bought 50kg and was a pain in the "unameit" to transport 2nd floor..
After turning on this mofo, no fcking OSD or picture whatsoever!! I checked PS1 and PS2 and have crystal clear sound over RGB Scart (AV1), but no picture! I have to say theres no remote, yet.. But i figured out to press a button on this mofo to change input channels.. Im so sick and worried i want to cry like a 5yr old... This R E A L L Y sucks ballz...

My Quest is, does this mofo NEED a remote to operate?? Theres NO fcking OSD on this mofo..

Try different inputs. Also try the channel buttons - those should show something onscreen. Did you confirm it was working when you went to get it?

I'm not sure about this specific chassis (haven't got the service manual) but it's likely that the remote will be helpful for service mode adjustments, but if you don't get any picture you have a somewhat larger problem than that.
