Difference BVM 2015 / BVM 2016 - wait for a different one

Hello
After enjoying a European CRT TV for the past 15 years, it died during June 2014.
I learned about PVM's through this website and purchased a (buildyear december 2002) PVM 20L2. Struggled with it at first ut got it fully working.
it is a great monitor and it stimulates me to get a BVM to go along side it.

Currently I have the option of purchasing for a reasonable price a BVM 2015P and a BVM 2016P, neither clearly states buildyear.
They both have the same number of hours and are equally priced. I intent to use it for Megadrive / PSone / PS2 / SNES / NES, mostly Megadrive & PS2.

Is there a significant difference between the two models? I learned that the BVM 2015P is also called the BVM-1915 and the BVM 2016p is called the BVM-1916 but was unable to find additional information.

I hardly ever see a BVM offered and am wondering whether I should wait for a newer model
