Alternative power supply adapter for Neo Geo Aes?

Recently bought a NEO GEO with no power supply so I purchased one from ebay. It was by a company called Strontronics. I wasn't sure how good it was but for $35 dollars you'd think they would put out a better product. It did work for like the hour I was playing the game. Maybe its just my luck, I don't know but when I went to unplug the power from the system, the metal connector broke (the inner part). Did I get unlucky or is this something anyone else has experienced? Are there any good alternatives people are using?

After reading around on the internet, the early revision systems like the one i have, just need a 5v 3a adapter. I'm going to try one out to see how it works.
