Cheap rotatable 16x9 monitor with HDMI?

Post by Glossectomy »

Need something to be able to rotate while capturing footage run through my xrgb mini.

Preferably in the low 200's.

Any suggestions are welcome!

I purchased LG 22EB23PY about a month ago. Pretty nice monitor for its price.

We have a thread for this just next to yours btw  ... http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=51254

You're looking for entry level commercial/office displays, those come with a rotating stand, but rarely HDMI, only DVI.
This is not a problem though as a 5$ HDMI>DVI adapter will work perfectly (100% compatibility, 100% lossless conversion).

The small LG commercial displays are the best bang/buck in that category.

24MB35PU-B
23MB35PM-B
All look and perform the same, with only small differences (speakers, USB hub, size, etc).

Acer, Iiyama, Viewsonic, NEC, etc sell similar models (I mean with IPS panel and rotating stand included) but navigating through their products lists is kind of a chore (especially Acer).
One spec to look for: flicker-safe or flicker-free or low-flicker or whatever it's called. If it's not one of those: avoid.

Search well and you'll find several of those under $200. Good luck.
