Can anyone tell me if it is normal that the IGR function (reset from the control pad) only functions when you put the console in automatic mode (it have the supercic mod as well)
I do not yet have the console (i bought it off ebay), and i cannot find much info on it.
It's a 1chip super famicom and i'm not sure if the IGR mod is only supposed to work when you put the console in automatic mode. i usually just put it on 60Hz and leave it there. it would be a bummer if i cannot reset it then.

I have just SuperCIC'd and IGR'd my SNES and I can say that the reset function works in any mode. My SNES is not 1chip though!
