I think it's been like 5 years since I've been to a Shmups meet up I'll be in the Austin area for some training next week and my evenings should be pretty free, so if anyone wants to meet up and hang for a bit, let me know

I ended up going to Pinballz and Arcade UFO while I was there. Pinballz has a pretty impressive collection (as you'd hope from the name) and Arcade UFO is a neat little hole in the wall. They had a couple shmups running, but it's really geared toward fighting games.
