BVM vertical band

On a BVM-A20F1M which I have just received, I have just noticed a vertical band which moves vertically from left to right constantly.

Maybe it spent its working life just displaying colour bars, my 2044QM has some mild burn in where green and magenta meet

What you say is interesting, but on your 2044QM, mild burn is statics or in moving?

It would have to be static, because screen burn alters the static phosphors (they can't get as bright anymore).

If your vertical line is moving it can't be screen burn.

I'm not a repair tech by any jump of imagination, but maybe this is related to horizontal hold circuitry?

Thank you for your help, but which you call "horizontal hold circuitry"?

For precision, I put the light at the most and I not possessed of BKM-68X, thus impossible for the moment to make of real test

The lines look almost exactly like the sync portion of a signal in sync monitoring mode on my BVM2010p. The sync monitoring mode allows you to see the blanking areas and sync area of a signal, an important feature for the original use of Broadcast monitors.

Is the problem present when you input a signal?

I cannot enter of signal yet, because there is only entry SDI, I wait to find a card BKM-68X for test.
