Hello all!
I purchased a Vizio P552ui-B2 today and hooked everything up. Everything is great and this thing definitely has some low input lag! (rated at 17ms IIRC on reviews). Problem is, this input lag is lowest on one particular HDMI port (HDMI 5, the 4k @60hz HDMI 2.0 port) and this is the port that has no sound. Video works fine but I get zero sound when connected through my Framemeister.
-Anyone seen this before on a Framemeister? Is there maybe a setting I am missing?
-Anyone connected the Framemeister to a HDMI 2.0 port on a TV? Does it work for you?
-This a known problem? My Googling skills aren't that mighty but they aren't overly shabby either yet I couldn't find a thing about this.
Any help would be much appreciated! TV is great otherwise and the sound works with other devices plugged into the port.
New TV (Vizio P552ui-B2) + Framemesiter = no sound?

Hello, I noticed no one's responded yet. Unfortunately I don't own this TV (though it looks amazing in the store!), and my Framemeister isn't hooked up at the moment but you did say "Any" help so I'll make some suggestions.
1) Vizio has offered a couple firmware updates for their 4k sets, are you up to date?
2) You may want to check available hdmi audio settings on the framemeister, experiment with any audio output settings (example being bitstream, pcm, etc.) Same with the TV.
3) I think the Mini lets you toggle HDCP on and off, you may want to try that.
4) Certainly confirm that your TV is receiving audio from ANY device on that HDMI port.
5)Reset your TV to factory default settings and retry.
6) If you're still stuck, try running the hdmi output through one of the numerous cheap HDMI splitters that removes HDCP. Worst case, if nothing works and you have separate audio equipment, you can run the other hdmi output into your audio receiver.
I was meaning to ask-- how's the Mini look on your TV? Also do scanlines work?
