N64 resetting by itself.

Hi guys,

My N64 is resetting in random places. Only tried Mario 64 so far. Just wondered if there was a simple fix for it like cleaning the cartridge. Its been in storage for years and only just tried it out in the past few weeks on and off but it keeps resetting. Sometimes within 10 seconds, sometimes after 30 mins. But eventually it will do it.

Try a different power supply. Should be readily available online or used game store.

I had a similar issue and solved it by cleaning the edge connectors on the cartridges, and also on the ram pak (if you are using that). I used a can of PCB cleaner spray from maplins and cotton buds.
