on my sony pvm-14n6u there are two settings i cant adjust in the osd. Chroma and phase. they just have dashes there instead of a number.
what is wrong with the osd if anything? is there a way to reset it so that it works?

Re: pvm options not working
I am quite sure chroma does nothing to an RGB signal - as memory serves it's something like a gain control for the multiplexed components of NTSC. Phase is probably similar.
In any case, whatever you're trying to adjust can surely be done effectively with other controls, if you're discussing RGB.

Re: pvm options not working
thanks, ed.
hmm. mabeye the reason they are disabled is because they dont apply to rgb.
i guess ill try switching to one of the other inputs and see if it works
UPDATE: yes thats exactly what the issue was. I switched to input 1 instead of rgb and chroma starts working. Phase doesnt though. I guess phase must work if i select pal instead of ntsc. it sounds like something to switch between pal60 and pal50.
i guess i wont use either one much. although i do have a pal snes id like to get working i need to change the tip on a nes power adapter first.
