Hi guys,
I have a problem with the bandridge switch I purchased. Here is the set up
Switch
Female Scart to BNC from retro gaming cables
SNES RGB cable from retro gaming cables
Megadrive RGB cable from retro gaming cables
Standard RGB scart cable (cheap one)
The problem is - the TV says No Sync. Its a PVM monitor and I do not know what is going on? I read that you have to cut some traces, but surely not?
Standard RGB cable is used from the 'out' on the back of the switch to the Female BNC scart. Do I need a special scart cable?
Sync cable is definitely plugged in and it works without the switch with no issues.

You sure you have the SCART from the PVM plugged into the correct SCART port on the bandbridge?
Is this the 5 port manual or auto or a different model?
You sure you have Ext Sync enabled on the PVM and RGB/Component is selected on the front as well as RGB being selected as the signal type in the menu?

Yes to all those questions, everything is enabled.
What I get is a picture that's jumping around, with No sync displayed. It's what you would normally see when you unplug the sync cable from the PVM.
The switch is the 5 scart Auto version - I opened this up to cut the trace as suggest on another thread, buts its completely different to that of the manual switch, so I have no idea what to cut or do, if I even need to cut that is.
Could it be the standard RGB scart I am using from the Bandridge to the female scart to BNC plugged in the PVM?
