Sigma did make USB adapters for these, but they stopped selling them about 10 years ago now. Very rare, but show up once a year or so if you are patient and have $$$.
to be honest, because the internal pcb is secured nicely with just 4 screws and good design, what i did was remove the pcb and wire in a ps2 controller's pcb which cost maybe $5 and then used a lagless ps2->usb converter (also $5) to play console or ggpo emulator. it does mean having one stick dedicated to this, but if you change your mind later it is very easy to then screw the original pcb back in place and wire it up again. very quick and easy job
