newbie question regarding set up on a BVM 2010p

Hi all, im new to the forum as im after some basic advise

Ive just bought a Sony BVM 2010p. I have a NTSC Super Famicom with an RGB cable which outputs composite video as sync.

Ive ordered an RGB to BNC breakout cable from retrogamingcables.co.uk WITHOUT the sync stripper.

So, my question is, will the BVM 2010p accept the signal ok (compostite video sync) with the set up I'll have? I just can't seem to find a solid answer for this on this forum.

Hi, although iI've had no response to this I got my cable today, I hooked it up and everything seems ok, the only slight issue is that the screen flickers on and off every now and then. Can anyone advise me on what this might be,maybe I need the sync stripper version of the cable but I'm not sure?

try connecting the cable to sync 'out' instead of sync 'in' or vice versa
