I hope that warp point isn't mouse controlled. Since it's shown as a straight line I suppose not. Great to see Astro Port still making shmups, though I thought Wolflame and Steel Strider weren't as good as their older releases. Looks like the same graphics engine they used for Steel Strider.

I wonder if any japanese devs tried out Valkyrius (on XBLIG), that game has a teleport mechanic that works really well.

Astro Port is the WayForward of Japan: they make a large number of mediocre, disposable games, when they should be focusing their efforts towards making a small number of high quality ones.

I have two titles from Astro Port that I consider must haves and are frequently replayed parts of my library. That's more then most devs can say

Would rather have seen a little more polish on Wolflame rather than immediately beginning work on this thing, but if their previous work with horizontals are any indication this will probably turn out to be pretty good. :)

I hope to see Astroport translate Wolflame and Steel Strider before they release Zangeki Warp.
