Luigi's Mansion Arcade
Yesterday a bunch of sites started reporting that Capcom have released a Luigi's Mansion cab although there is hardly any screens of the actual game and no info on the controls or how it plays. Has anyone tried it out yet and can give a more detailed impression?

So is this new? Like 2014 November?Capcom have released a Luigi's Mansion cab
If so, I'm SUPER interested
Re: Luigi's Mansion Arcade
It's new to arcades but I don't think it's an entirely original game, I believe it's derived from the recent 3DS game.
EDIT: Japanese writeup, sounds like a lightgun game:

I have zero info on this game but my guess is that it was released fairly recently given all the articles in the last 24 hours.Cagar wrote:So is this new? Like 2014 November?Capcom have released a Luigi's Mansion cab

I can't read Japanese but a Luigi's Mansion based lightgun game does make a lot of sense especially if you get to use the vacuum as a controller.GSK wrote:It's new to arcades but I don't think it's an entirely original game, I believe it's derived from the recent 3DS game.

EDIT: Found a couple more pics. IGN just posted an article an hour ago about it. They seem to think it's a lightgun game as well.
http://au.ign.com/articles/2014/11/04/l ... -halloweenCapcom ran a location test over the Halloween weekend for a Luigi's Mansion arcade game in Japan called Luigi Mansion Arcade.
The location test ran from October 30 until November 3 and offered arcade visitors the chance to play the Luigi’s Mansion-themed game in a Theatre style cabinet. Pictured below by Twitter user PO121Karma, it is thought that the cabinet uses the light-gun as Luigi’s Poltergust 5000, the iconic ghost-capturing vacuum.

I wonder it it runs on the same Wii-based system as Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Would make some sense.

Wow. This just sort of appeared out of nowhere.
Interesting to see how it plays.

How the hell would this even translate to an arcade game?
