STG Demonstrations @ Matmouse, Kanagawa, Japan (Sun 2nd Nov)

There's a STG demonstration being held at an arcade in Kawasaki, Kanagawa organised by none other than T3-Kamui herself on Sunday 2nd November, and will feature:

2pm: Mushihimesama Futari Black Label (player: Darurun)
4.30pm: Operation Ragnarok (player: CLAW-Yamamoso)
7pm: Battle Garegga (player: T3-Kamui)

For Japanese residents, it is a public demonstration so you can turn up and check the event out.
For worldwide peeps, I believe they're trying to get a stream setup going. I'll actually be in Tokyo attending this in person, so I'll let you know if/when I find out what the details are. Otherwise I'll try and get some footage and photos up.

A number of the past Stunfest invited players are coming along, both for the Sunday event and to the meetup at Hey and Ebisen the following day.

I've been having fun meeting up with Kamui and other players at Hey, chatting with them and watching them work their magic. Got some footage recorded:

They're happy for me to share the replays, so they and others will be up on my 'tubes as and when I record them. Everyone's really friendly and keen to socialise, which is really cool. I haven't got any more details for the event on Sunday yet, but I'll update if I hear anything, otherwise I'll do some recording using my iPhone like I usually do.

It's funny, I didn't even know I was following an exceptional Batrider player until yesterday. I found a protected tweet with a snapshot of a T.73mil mixed team ALL (Carpet, Flying Baron, Maria) and now I'm doubly impressed.

Cool event, thanks for those replays it was really cool seeing TTH play Batrider again and comparing it with the old 22.5mil replay, a lot of stuff went just right in that replay but here the game is as rowdy as ever, honestly seeing players try to take on Confrict's full-power spread attack is some Evo Moment 37 shit.

Just came home from the event.
Just packed with people and skill, very inspiring to see.
Kamuis Garegga run was awesome, died at the last boss but the way there was mind-boggling.

Entry fee was 1000 yen, then you got a name-tag, coffe, candy and something slimy on a stick.... and freeplay all night. Very nice.

There wasn't a stream set up so all of the demos were done for the assembled audience. Pretty good turnout though. Nice event, pretty cool stuff going on, free play for hours. My eyes can barely stay open, I'm that exhausted.

I didn't take too many pics as I was playing and chatting with Erhune, Alfarabi, adversity1, Kamui and TATEHA. I know Kamui took a few though, so I'll see if I can nab them when she shares them on Facebook.

I did get a replay however, but it's not one you're expecting...
