Here is one of my mini boomboxes. Bought it off ebay for a good price.
Comes with box and manuals.
Works and sounds perfect !
Has a mini EQ on front Panel and "Space Sound" adjustment, which widens the stereo sound.
Made in Japan
This thing is auto-reverse. I remember, around 12 years old, being the first one in my group of friends to get an auto-reverse Sony walkman ; they were all jealous.
Bravo jolie Ln, tu as trouvé : l'armée de l'air c'est là où on peut te tenir par la main.
I recall some of those boomboxes had a built-in 5" B&W TV as well with the usual VHF & UHF channels at your disposal. Emerson made sold them in the USA back in the early 1980s, indeed. Not to mention those cool old-school Sony B&W Watchman portable handheld TVs were cool for their time as well. Even Seiko got into the ultra-niche TV wristwatch setup with a tiny B&W TV screen (the TV station reception was alright considering how tiny the miniature CRT TV screen was anyways) -- saw it in action one day at a ritzy jewelry store at the local mall back in the early '80s -- the price tag was around $2,000 USD. It was too rich for my tastes anyways.
I recall winning a Sony AM/FM stereo Walkman that had a cool built-in EQ back in 1990...you could crank up the bass quite easily. It was powered by a mere two "AAA" batteries.
It's said that when you put your ears up to Space Sound, you can still hear the echoes of the time PC-Engine Fan X! did went some place and saw some thing.
