Hi there!
We have a Super Famicom from japan in it's original state.
Do we need to RGB mod thsi in anyway to achieve RGB quality?
Or is it enough to buy this cable to get true RGB like the NESRGB board would give the NES?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Super Famicom RGB (Mod?) Cable
The original SNES / SFC consoles output RGB without any mods. The SNES mini needs a minor mod though.

If quality is important, you might want to look into the SN of your SFC to see if it is a 1CHIP, or consider doing a mod on a Mini as suggested above. The 1CHIP and Mini produce a better picture quality than the original models, but I guess that is subjective to a degree (I think some have criticized the Mini as having too sharp of an image?).
