PEGI rates Nano Assault Neo-X for PS4 Twin-stick shoot 'em up set for PlayStation 4 release.
Shin’en Multimedia’s first PlayStation 4 game is Nano Assault Neo-X, a rating from Europe’s PEGI rating board reveals.
The twin-stick shoot ‘em up first launched as Nano Assault Neo on Wii U in November 2012. It was followed by Nano Assault Ex for 3DS in March 2013, and preceded by the original Nano Assault for 3DS in December 2011.
Given that the news leaked via PEGI, we don’t know the contents of the PlayStation 4 game—how much it adds on top of the Wii U version, etc.
Somehow I thought Nintendo had an exclusive partnership with Shinen, given that they've never released a single game on a non-Nintendo platform to date.
I wonder how many people who bought the past three versions of Nano Assault will shell out for this one. Or if FAST Racing Neo is being delayed to bring it to PS4 as well.

Nano Assault Neo is a sequel to Nano Assault/EX (despite the EX version coming later), not the same game.
It's more of an alternate version than a true sequel. There is a lot of recycled content, even if Neo has differently structured stages and omits the rail shooter segments.
- Port of Wii U version with "some PS4 specific improvements."
- Res now 1080p on PS4 from 720p on Wii U, and "post processing quality has been ramped up."
- Out this year.
- Nano Assault Neo on Wii U was "a big success for us and we continue with two new Wii U games (Aob+FRN)."
This will be the very FIRST game Shin'en has ever released for a non-Nintendo platform
I had fun with Nano Assault Neo while it lasted (it certainly improved on the Nanostrays. Nothing at all like a classic shmup or a favourite for me, but I'd give a sequel/rework a good chance.
