Custom jamma adaptor for Cloak & Dagger anyone?

Post by drboom »

I apologize if there is a thread for a request like this, but I'm looking for someone to make an adaptor for my Cloak & Dagger pcb so I can play it in my Astro City. Preferably, I'd like the igniter button to be th player 2 A button and the dual joystick controls through the player 1 & 2 sticks. Is it possible? Please Pm me if you can help! Dave_K mentioned something about -5v being needed and I'm not sure how to hook anything like that up with my power supply or anything. I've never used a soldering iron, but maybe it's time to learn...

The Negatron will be a cheap solution to add a -5V Line on pins E and 5 on the JAMMA harness. Shouldn't be a difficult soldering job to do.

I have built one of these in the past. They are quite complex. The audio on the C&D board is unamplified stereo, so I wired up a RCA cable from the harness to run to an external amp.

Oh wow - that does not sound easy. But would you be interested in making another one?
