Ghost in the Machine

For some reason, my Astro City seems to have gremlins in it. All the work I've ever done on this cab ends up being way more trouble than it should be - when I replaced the monitor, I had to replace the replacement because it didn't function properly, the speakers have always been a mess, getting the marquee fixture to work was nearly impossible, and now I tried to add a volume knob (which should have been a simple mod), and I ended up giving up for the night. I've done lots of work to my other machines, but never had this many problems. The only conclusion I can draw is that this machine must be haunted.

Anyone else have a cab that just didn't want to cooperate?
