Hi all,
What is considered the best HDMI to component adapter available?
I want to hook my Ouya up to the SLG3000 component version.
Many thanks,
Duane

Re: Ouya HDMI to Component
I've wondered about this as well...tis a shame that the Ouya console only has a single HDMI output port and nothing else to save on manufacturing production costs -- say like component video output, or even a VGA port for that matter.
Would it be possible to mod the Ouya so that it has a digital optical port as well?
I noticed that some Ouya games, especially the low-res looking games, need that proper scanlines effect.
It's cool that the Ouya console does have built-in support to display 3D on a proper 3D LCD or LED HDTV setup -- although it's never mentioned in the instruction manual but it's a nice unexpected bonus.

Re: Ouya HDMI to Component
converting HDMI to either RGBHV or component is cheap and has excellent results. VGA is to be prefered over component though, especially when it comes to scanlines. The converter will provide an audio output as well. The cheapest ones only in analogue stereo, the better ones with SPDIF PCM or bitstream.
