Hi everybody!
I'm trying to run my PS1 on RGB mode without success.
My configuration is:
PS1 ---> commom wiring ---> sync stripper LM1881 ---> GBS8200 ---> LCD Monitor
The schematic is:
PS1 PIN 12 ---> Electrolitic Capacitor 220uF 16V ---> GBS8200 CONNECTOR P11 PIN G
PS1 PIN 11 ---> Electrolitic Capacitor 220uF 16V ---> GBS8200 CONNECTOR P11 PIN R
PS1 PIN 9 ---> Electrolitic Capacitor 220uF 16V ---> GBS8200 CONNECTOR P11 PIN B
PS1 PIN 8 ---> LM1881 PIN 4 ---> GBS8200 CONNECTOR P11 PIN GND
PS1 PIN 5 ---> Ceramic 100nF ---> LM1881 PIN 2
LM1881 ---> PIN 1 ---> GBS8200 CONNECTOR P11 PIN S
LM1881 ---> PIN 3 ---> NOT CONNECTED
LM1881 ---> PIN 5 ---> NOT CONNECTED
LM1881 ---> PIN 6 ---> 680K AND 100nF PARALEL
680K AND 100nF ---> LM1881 PIN 4
LM1881 ---> PIN 7 ---> NOT CONNECTED
LM1881 ---> PIN 8 ---> +5V
My sync stripper is similar to the LM1881 DATASHEET.
Well, after do all of this I did tests....
When I run using RGBS of my GBS8200 the screen don't stay sync.
So I tried run using RGBHV and the screen stay purple. I disconnect the Red and Blue wires and the screen stay black and White....no green....just luminance.
So I did the same test in another console...
I had a better result in RGBS, but in RGBHV was the same result.
Finally, I have two questions:
1) How to SYNC the screen using RGBS?
2) Where is the Green using RGBHV?
