Extron Super Emotia GX Component output
Hello, I have an Emotia GX that is supposed to be able to output RGBS and Component Video through the BNC connectors. There is a push button that switches RGB or Component, but I just need to know what type of BNC connectors I need to plug into the Emotia to output to my Sony Trinitron's Component input.

You just need three BNC RCA adapter plugs like the one shown below. After that you can use standard RCA to RCA component cables.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Also would I want to only use the R-Y, Y, and B-Y outputs and ignore the S (sync) since it's only used for RGB?

Yep. Sync is on the green cable.

Thanks Thamiel.
Fudoh - the bnc to rca example you showed me would be BNC Male to RCA Female, correct? Something like this?

Would something like this work just as well?

If I want to run Mame from my laptop to my Emotia to display on my TV, will I need to adjust my graphics resolution in display settings? I'm wondering if I should be using 640x480 resolution in Windows, and if so, what color depth would I select? - 256, High Color (16 bit) or True Color (32 bit) ?

yes, 480p in true color will be your choice. In MAME choose DirectDraw instead of D3D processing to get proper linedoubling.
