Arcade game identification

Post by Andi »

About 8 or 10 years ago I played a game at an arcade that I have never seen since or been able to recall the title of. It was a sidescrolling platformer that had kind of an oriental samurai motif. There were selectable characters and they were all animals in various kinds of armor (I'm almost certain there was a rhino, there also might have been a bird of some sort). The characters were sort of super-deformed - I think.

Any ideas?

Not Warriors of Fate (although that game looks cool as hell). You couldn't move into the background like you can in a beat 'em up.

No, none of these are it. Shit. I'm not sure how else to describe - other than emphasizing it isn't a beat 'em up. It's more of an action platformer.

Roosters is definitely awesome though.

I went through the Konami listings on KLOV and didn't see it either.

Bingo! Great work!

I remember the gaming looking a lot different but chalk that up to time. Thanks very much.
