Raiden fighter jet models

Post by Furry Fox Jet Pilot »

I'm not sure if this thread belongs in the Trading Section, so my bad if I posted in the wrong place. Does anyone know where I can buy these models of the Raiden MK-II? I'm looking for price info, and whether or not I can buy them from a seller that uses American dollars, because I don't want to deal with foreign currencies such as yen. Or if anyone has some that they would be willing to sell me, that would be great. I'm looking for the model in the first pic, preferably because I like how it's more detailed than the others and because it has the lightning bolt insignia on the side.

Holy crap!!!! After I saw the other pics on that page of the 13B/SPECTER models, I just have to have them. That's unfortunate that they only sell at events, but is there any way I can contact them or is there anyone here on the forums that has some they might be willing to sell? I am the biggest Raiden fan here, and I won't be satisfied until I get my hands on those models!

The SGH Raiden is a flimsy piece of crap that barely holds together. I gave mine away as a prize at Halifax Scramble. I have no idea if anyone claimed it, maybe Serraxor knows?

Are you any good at building/painting? Those Spectres kits come unassembled.

I kind of figured, they don't look too sturdy in the pics, that's why I'm looking for the Specter kits, those are a work of art. As for the building and painting, I wouldn't really know, but I'm more than willing to give it a try, it's part of the fun. The hard part is finding out how I can get a hold of these kits since I don't live in Japan :? If anyone knows how, I'd gladly appreciate it!

You know, we've been lucky with things like the Ikaruga, R-9 and R-Gray kits that were released recently. (And Silver Hawk and Vic Viper etc) This is a popular franchise so I wouldn't be surprised if we get a commercial kit eventually.

Thank you, I'd really appreciate it if you could. I just had a few questions though. Is there any way to contact 13B/SPECTERS and inquire about the price, because I might want 2, so I can have both the red and blue jets. I kind of want to know how much they are before I decide to spend too much money. Also, assuming you are able get a hold of one, how would I pay you for it, sorry for my lack of knowledge, I've never bought something that had to be shipped from a foreign country.

Because you used quotes in events, so I thought there was something wrong, semantically (english isn't my first language).

Not at all! I just meant that it's not a modeling convention, but rather something else where those ships are usually sold.
