Hello,
I've been thinking of getting a cheap iScan Pro device to connect my RGB SCART Genesis into my HDTV.
However, there is no RGBs input on these devices...
I was wondering what my options were for connecting this console into the device.
Am I required to get a Scart to YUV transcoder or can I get away with a Scart to Component dongle cheaply?
What about a the vga input on the iScan... Can I utilize this with scart?
I really have no idea how to approach this... Please Help!

The iScan Pro does not offer native RGB support (nor does the Ultra. It was first added with the iScan HD).
So to use RGBs on the iScan Pro you need a proper transcoder to component. A simple adapter won't work.
I don't see any VGA input on the iScan Pro. The unit has composite, s-video and component inputs and a combined VGA/YUV output in SDub15 format.
